We have chosen a novel approach that delivers a variety of benefits to the end-user:

• Simple to Use: The battery can be plugged into either the auxiliary port on the door reader or the standard power port on the back of the safe.
• Reliable Power: The battery can power the safe for hundreds of transactions.
• Data Integrity: Unlike solutions with key overrides, all authentication events are stored locally in the safe until power is restored and then uploaded to the cloud.
• Economically Beneficial: The system runs off a simple 9V battery (the same as in your smoke detector!)

We often take for granted everyday conveniences such as electricity and internet access. However, power and network connectivity become absolutely vital for our First Responder Community, who rely on equipment for life-saving activities. Constant, secure access to narcotics during critical life-saving events is a “must-have” for paramedics and fire rescue personnel.
